GDRFA signs MoU with Rental Dispute Settlement Center to establish electronic link
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai and the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre (RDSC) have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to solidify the electronic link between the two entities, thus enhancing government services, bolstering modernization and development endeavours, and accelerating the pace of implementation procedures.
The agreement was signed at GDRFA’s headquarters during a reception where H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Rental Dispute Resolution Center (RDRC). The delegation was headed by H.E. Judge Ahmed Musa, the Enforcement Judge at the Department.
Al Marri stressed that the establishment of an electronic link between GDRF and RDSC will undoubtedly enhance the centre's functionality, facilitating and bolstering its pivotal role in protecting rights within the real estate rental sector. This step is more than a mere operational enhancement; it represents our ongoing commitment at GDRFA to improve the quality of life in Dubai while also striving for excellence in security and safety standards.
Echoing Al Marri's sentiments, Judge Ahmed Musa underscored the necessity of collective efforts in achieving electronic links with partners. This digital integration will not only simplify procedures, facilitate transactions between involved parties, but will also save time and effort, enhance the customer experience, and foster the development and improvement of information technology capabilities.
