GDRFA Dubai recognizes 9 creative employees
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has concluded the highly successful 5th edition of the "Creative Care" program, wherein 9 exceptional individuals were recognized and honoured for their achievements.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the GDRFA, and HE Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
The "Creative Care" program, organized by GDRFA's Creativity and Innovation Center in partnership with the US-based Global Innovation Management Institute, is an integrated program designed to nurture creative skills and innovation among employees. It aims to help participants cultivate innovative capabilities, understand the UAE model for future foresight and innovation, and create a stimulating work environment for future projects.
The program takes an active approach to studying the challenges facing GDRFA and equipping participants with the skills needed to create innovative projects that address these issues and convert them into practical actions.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri underscored the program's significance, stating that its results represent an Emirati accomplishment that adds to the UAE's impressive list of global achievements. The program is viewed as a means to facilitate further advancements that strengthen the UAE's global standing.
On her part, Hala Badri, the Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, affirmed the authority's commitment to nurturing creative energies and highlighting them by empowering, honing, developing, and stimulating them towards innovation. This contributes to achieving Dubai's ambitious vision of solidifying its position as an ideal destination for living, working, and entertainment, and a global incubator for talented individuals. She said, "Through its initiatives and projects, the authority seeks to create a sustainable creative environment capable of providing opportunities for creators in various fields to express their different perspectives and visions, and to work on enabling, training, and building their capacities. This contributes to achieving our strategic goals aimed at supporting talents and elevating Dubai's creative economy system, in line with the vision of our wise leadership." Hala Badri also highlighted that the "Creators Support Program" under "GDRFA Dubai" aligns with the goals of "Dubai Culture" and its efforts to create innovative, high-quality projects capable of envisioning and designing the future, and contributing to enhancing Dubai and the UAE's position on the global map. She emphasized "Dubai Culture's" keenness on developing its personnel and employees and promoting a culture of innovation among them, while also commending the partnership and cooperation between the authority and "GDRFA Dubai" and their contribution to exchanging expertise in various knowledge and creative fields.
