GDRFA discusses ways to unveil proactive policies in ambitious 40-day timeline
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organized a Proactive Policy Lab at the Address Skyview Hotel. The event was attended by prominent leaders, supervisors, and policymakers from all sectors of the GDRFA.
H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, said: "The Proactive Policy Lab has been a steppingstone to unveil forward-looking policies at our upcoming government policy conference within a set timeframe, reaffirming his confidence in the competence and efficiency of GDRFA team, who consistently demonstrate unity, cooperation, integration, and harmony in their work."
For his part, Major General Dr. Ali Ajif Al Zaabi, Assistant Director General of the Governance and Regulatory Oversight Sector at GDRFA, further emphasized that the proactive policies are aimed at fostering sustainability and comprehensive development, enhancing economic, social, and environmental growth within the UAE.
Meanwhile, Dr. Hanan Al Marzouqi, Director of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Department at GDRFA, clarified that the lab’s purpose is to initiate the development of proactive policies within 40 days, with an eye to unveiling them at the government policy conference scheduled for next September. She stated that the approach taken would be comprehensive, utilizing a 360-degree methodology.
