GDRFA Dubai signs partnership agreement with University of Cambridge
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has inked a cooperation agreement with the University of Cambridge to enhance mutual cooperation, exchange expertise, and fuel developments in areas of shared interest.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, and Mustafa Sulaiman Mohammed, Executive Director at the University of Cambridge, signed the agreement, which comes in line with GDRFA’s strategy aimed at fostering partnerships that promote its leading position both domestically and internationally.
Lieutenant General Al Marri emphasised that the agreement will bring about a positive change in the joint collaboration with the University of Cambridge, positioning the GDRFA as a global hub for scientific research and innovation.
Elaborating on the strategic move, Colonel Yasser Rashid Al Khanbouli, Director of the Continuous Learning and Talent Development Centre, said that the agreement aims to broaden the network of partnerships with global entities, institutions, and universities to propel advancement and innovation across varied sectors.
Key terms of the agreement grant GDRFA access to trainee exam results from global testing websites. Furthermore, it will receive official certifications from global entities, recognising GDRFA as an accredited international testing and preparatory centre.
