GDRFA Dubai Honours 41 Outstanding Employees with GDRFA Pioneer Awards
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organised a prestigious ceremony to honour 41 outstanding winners of the GDRFA Pioneers Award in recognition of their exemplary efforts and achievements in their respective fields and to inspire further success and positive impact within the workplace.
Held under the patronage of HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, the event was attended by several employees. The ceremony also witnessed Brigadier Hussein Ibrahim, Assistant Director General of the Institutional Support Sector, being honoured for his pivotal role in fostering motivation, encouragement, and support, particularly in stimulating women's contributions to the GDRFA Pioneers Award.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri emphasised the critical role women play in enhancing the work environment, thereby fostering sustainable development. He noted that this award is meant to recognise and celebrate the unique efforts and accomplishments women have showcased in the professional arena.
The selection process for the winners was rigorous and based on specific, objective criteria. Nominations were assessed based on the individuals' job performance, their alignment with strategic objectives, continuous personal development, and the acquisition of new skills. Also considered were the entrepreneurial initiatives undertaken by the employees, their diversity, personal commitment, and active participation in both societal and professional activities.
