GDRFA Dubai Celebrates Partnerships and Collaborations at 2023 Honoring Ceremony

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organised a ceremony to honour its partners and suppliers during the current year 2023. The event, held under the theme "Together, We Excel," celebrated the collaborative efforts and achievements of various entities in supporting GDRFA's initiatives.

HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, opened the ceremony with a speech, expressing his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the unwavering support and cooperation of all partners involved.

Al Marri highlighted the crucial role these collaborations play in meeting the goals set by the UAE’s wise leadership, especially driving sustainable development and growth within the Emirate of Dubai.

During the event, The General Directorate signed a new partnership agreement with Emirates, marking a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between major entities in the region. Additionally, the ceremony featured a live musical performance by the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the renowned Maestro Riyad Qudsi, adding a touch of cultural richness to the occasion. 

The audience was also treated to a short film, providing insights into the importance of these partnerships. The event included an entertaining segment and an exhibition that displayed advanced systems in procurement and supply. The ceremony culminated in a prestigious honoUr bestowed by His Excellency upon 40 entities.Among those recognised were notable organisations such as FlyDubai, Emirates Airline, Dubai Finance Department, Dubai SME, Mohammed bin Rashid Library, Support Services Centre of the Department of Finance, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dnata Travel Group, and others.
