GDRFA Dubai Receives 'Promoting National Identity' Award at UAE Ideas Award 2023

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai was honoured with the "Promoting National Identity" award at the 10th edition of UAE Ideas Award 2023. 

The prestigious event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Honorary Sponsor of the Dubai Quality Group, took place at the Dubai Police Officers Club. The award ceremony was attended by prominent government officials and industry leaders.

Al Marri stated that the GDRFA has implemented an administrative system underpinned by a comprehensive Emiratisation policy. This system, known as the "Emiratisation Leadership Model," is designed to manage and promote Emiratisation effectively. It encompasses core principles, innovative strategies, metrics, and other critical elements.

The "Emiratisation Leadership Model," showcased by GDRFA, stands as a pioneering approach in alignment with legislative and scientific frameworks that guide human resource management practices. It is aimed at fostering and enhancing the sustainability of national competencies, as well as integrating Emiratisation as a fundamental element within the various stages of the human resources management system and professional talent development, Al Marri added.
