”GDRFA gifts Sheikh Mohammed's book “From Desert to Space

In a remarkable move to inspire and educate young minds, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has launched a new initiative to distribute copies of "From Desert to Space," authored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The initiative was part of the celebrations marking the 18th anniversary of His Highness's accession to power in Dubai. The copies of the inspirational book were distributed at the children's counters of Dubai airports.

HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, took part in the initiative, which came in line with the broader celebrations involving various official and private entities in the UAE.

HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasised that this initiative is part of the Directorate's continuous efforts to strengthen ties with the community, particularly with children arriving at Dubai Airports. 

“Through the distribution of this book in both Arabic and English, GDRFA aims to convey a message of motivation and education to children, encouraging them to become pioneers and innovators. Furthermore, it seeks to acquaint them with the remarkable journey of development and innovation that Dubai has undertaken under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,” Al Marri said.
