GDRFA Earns Golden Certificate for People of Determination-Friendly Headquarters

Adding yet another feather to its cap, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – (GDRFA) Dubai has been awarded a special ‘Wosool’ seal for building permits and building completion certificates in the Emirates of Dubai  from Dubai Municipality.

The prestigious golden certificate has been given in recognition of GDRFA’s headquarters meeting the requirements of the Dubai Building Code (DBC) as 'a building friendly for all', further cementing its status as an entity exceptionally accommodating to people of determination.

HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, emphasised that this accomplishment is yet another testament to the Directorate's commitment to fulfilling its strategic objectives. These include not only enhancing satisfaction and the quality of life for all stakeholders and providing an inclusive and supportive work environment, particularly for people of determination, but also implementing cutting-edge, secure digital solutions that bolster its proactive and adaptable services.

For his part, Brigadier Nabil Mohammed Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Committee of the Friendly Government Entity for People of Determination, stressed that GDRFA Dubai will spare no effort to support and empower people of determination through a wide range of services and initiatives aimed at making its facilities and services universally accessible. He added that GDRFA is recognised as a leading and proactive entity in implementing smart solutions and best practices that meet comprehensive health and environmental requirements.
