GDRFA launches Entrepreneurship Makers Forum at Al Khawaneej Council

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai will host the 2nd edition of the "Entrepreneurship Makers Forum" on February 27 at Al Khawaneej Council.

The forum aims to provide a platform for young citizens to showcase their entrepreneurial ventures and foster the development of their businesses.

The event will feature dialogue sessions where participants can share their entrepreneurial journeys, along with an exhibition for young entrepreneurs to display their projects and products.

The General Directorate has extended invitations to business owners as well as individuals involved in entrepreneurial, commercial, and investment projects, encouraging them to share their success stories and insights, thereby serving as an inspiration to others.

GDRFA has played a pivotal role in bolstering entrepreneurship by launching numerous initiatives focused on youth empowerment. In the 2023 edition of the Entrepreneurship Makers Forum, the Directorate showcased remarkable success, with over 150 young male and female citizens participating as entrepreneurs. 

Moreover, the Directorate supported over 600 emerging projects in 2022 and 2023, showcasing the products of these entrepreneurs in its building. This facilitated direct interactions between national entrepreneurs and employees, fostering meaningful connections between local business owners and employees.
