GDRFA Dubai is participating in ATM 2021
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) is preparing to participate the 28th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the leading exhibition in the Middle East in the field of travel and tourism, which will be held from 16 to 19 May 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Center. His Excellency Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, said that the Emirate of Dubai is working to consolidate its position as preferred destination for living and residency, and enhance its role as one of the most visited destinations in the world. This is due to its multiple attractions and developed infrastructure, in addition to the facilities and incentives that have contributed to attracting many tourists and investors from all over the world and stimulating the economic movement in the emirate. He added that the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Dubai in particular, guided by the forward-looking vision of the wise leadership and the precautionary measures it took to contain the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, enabled it to quickly recover and restore the tourist’s confidence. Major General Al Marri pointed out that providing the best services with the highest standards comes as part of GDRFA’s Dubai endeavour to facilitate and simplify procedures for all visitors and residents, and improve the quality of their lives, in addition to promote cooperation between various government entities to support the tourism sector and enhance the Dubai’s position as the preferred tourism destination and a leading commercial centre in the world. Major General Al Marri said that the Arabian Travel Market exhibition is a unique opportunity to attract tourism investments, communicate and discover the latest trends in the tourism sector, which is part of the global travel market portfolio that includes many of the leading events in the field of tourism and travel worldwide. The GDRFA Dubai will display in its participating pavilion its most prominent smart services, including the ALSAADA tourists card, which will enable tourists coming through Dubai airports to obtain free discounts card to enjoy promotional and exclusive offers provided by the “ALSAADA Card” partners during their stay in the emirate. The platform will also review Dubai residency services related to entry permit services, such as various types of tourist visas and the methods of applying for them.
