Issuing a golden residence permit (Top students, graduates)
The Golden Residence Permit is granted to top students graduating from UAE schools and universities or international universities. The residence permit is valid for 10 years and is non-extendable if the same conditions are met.
Requirements
Top Students:
1. A copy of his/her passport.
2. A high school diploma from a public or private school with a minimum grade of 95%.
3. A copy of his/her residency permit (issuing authority Dubai).
4. Attaching the approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (UAEICP).
Top Graduates of UAE Universities:
1. A copy of his/her passport.
2. A copy of his/her residency permit (issuing authority Dubai).
3. Attaching the approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (UAEICP).
Top Graduates of International Universities: 1. A copy of his/her passport.
2. A copy of his/her residency permit if they have a residency permit in the UAE (issuing authority Dubai).

1. Log in to the smart services system through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Search for the service to be applied for.
3. Fill in the application data, where applicable.
4. Pay the service fee (if any).
Amer Service Center:
1. Visit the nearest Amer Service Center.
2. Get the automated turn ticket and wait.
3. Submitting the application that fulfils all conditions and documents (if any) to the customer service employee.

Terms And Conditions
Top Students (High School):
1. He/ She must have a high school diploma from a public or private school licensed by the Ministry or the relevant local educational authorities.
2. He/ She must have a high school GPA of at least 95%, or its equivalent.
3. He/ She must have the certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Education.
Top Graduates of UAE Universities:
1. He/ She must have a bachelor's degree licensed by the Ministry of Education.
2. For Classification A, the cumulative GPA must be at least 3.5, and for Classification B, the cumulative GPA must be at least 3.8.
3. He/ She must have graduated no more than two years ago.
4. He/ She must have the certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Top Graduates of International Universities (Outside the UAE):
1. The university's ranking must be at least among the top 100 universities in the world, according to the international classification approved by the Ministry of Education.
2. For bachelor's degree graduates, the cumulative GPA must be at least 3.5.
3. He/ She must have graduated no more than two years ago.
4- The certificate must be authenticated by the Ministry of Higher Education.

Additional Information
- Obtaining approval for a Golden Residency for students is conditional upon a residency file issued solely by the Emirate of Dubai.
- Golden Residency applications cannot be submitted without the approval of the relevant ministry through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (UAEICP) system or through the nomination of competent local authorities.
- Golden Residency permits for students are not renewed after their expiration.
- High-achieving high school students are only permitted to sponsor their parents, excluding siblings.
- University students are permitted to sponsor family members (spouse and children) upon proof of an employment contract, a steady monthly income, and housing, in accordance with the conditions and laws governing family sponsorship. -
Golden Residency holders are exempt from the 180-day residency permit, as the permit is considered void only if it expires outside the country.
- Golden Residency applications cannot be submitted without the approval of the relevant ministry through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (UAEICP) system or through the nomination of competent local authorities.
