Hatta port receives more than 94,000 passengers during Eid Al Adha holiday

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai reported a substantial passenger transit through Hatta port during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, from June 27 to July 2, 2023. According to available data, a total of 94,945 passengers passed through the port.

Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Obaid Alketbi, Director of land Ports Passports Control Department,GDRFA lauded all teams working at Hatta port for demonstrating exceptional efficiency during this busy period, which is typically accompanied by various challenges due to a surge in travellers from the GCC countries and other nations.

He emphasised that "national cadres have once again proven their ability to manage the arrival or departure of travellers in large numbers during events" and expressed his admiration for the efforts of all personnel at land, air, and sea ports.
