Bahraini travellers greeted at Dubai Airports with special 'Bahrain is Heart and Eye' Stamp
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has warmly received Bahraini travellers arriving from the Kingdom of Bahrain by stamping their passports with a heartfelt slogan that reads, "Bahrain is our heart and eye." Smart gates at the airports were also illuminated in the vibrant colours of the Bahraini flag. The festive celebration was organised in honour of Bahraini National Day, observed on December 16 every year.
GDRFA’s gesture celebrating Bahrain's National Day reflects the close bond and mutual respect between the UAE and Bahrain. Frontline employees welcomed Bahraini travellers with scarves bearing the message "Bahrain is our heart and eye" and distributed gifts and chocolates. Passengers arriving at Dubai airports were pleasantly surprised by the display of the Bahraini flag's colours on the smart gates, reflecting the collective happiness of this national celebration.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, expressed his pleasure at participating in this celebration, emphasising that this initiative demonstrates GDRFA's commitment to strengthening the cultural and historical bonds shared with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al Marri highlighted that GDRFA is keen to enhance bilateral relations between the two fraternal nations and solidify their close and distinguished ties at political, economic, and cultural levels. He emphasized the importance of their shared cultural heritage, which unites them.
Furthermore, Al Marri noted that the UAE has been and will continue to be an ideal destination for families from various GCC countries and visitors from around the world, especially during the winter season when the region comes alive with events and festivals. Dubai offers a plethora of options and experiences, including tourist attractions, entertainment destinations, and captivating shows, making it an inviting destination for travellers.
