The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai launched the campaign ‘#We_GDRFA_are_ready’ through its official accounts on social media. It will be adopted within all the activities that the Directorate participates in. The launch of the hashtag coincides with the imminent launch of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Governmental Performance in its 22nd session, which embodies government excellence and the aspirations of the wise leadership to make the country a global destination for excellence, innovation, development and growth. It also coincides with the fast approaching Expo 2020 Dubai, which will be hosted by the UAE under the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," from 20th of next October. His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, affirmed that the launch of the hashtag #We_GDRFA_are_ready confirms its full preparedness to provide everything that contributes to the success of all events hosted by the UAE and the Emirate of Dubai.
