PRINCESS HAYA AWARD FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein Award for Special Education recognized the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai as a "Distinguished Supporter" for its efforts to achieve excellence in the special education sector. The award encourages special education workers to give more and work harder to advance services. the provision of services for those with special needs and the encouragement of the national technical and administrative cadres, in particular, to collaborate with those individuals and improve the quality of the services offered to them.
2012
Shamsa Bint Suhail Award for creative women
Latifa Ali Al-Suwaidi, an employee with cerebral palsy, received the top prize from Sheikha Shamsa bin Suhail, the wife of His Highness, the President of the State, in the category of creativity for women with special needs. This was because of her numerous athletic accomplishments and her large collection of medals and awards in the throwing category of strength games—Javelin and discus throwers who excel in local, regional, and international competitions.

The Sheikha Shamsa Bin Suhail Award's Creativity Award for Women with Special Needs was won by Al-Madani/Hawa Muhammad Ahli. Hawa Muhammad Ahli experienced a severe rise in her body temperature in her fifth year. Her parents were unaware of the severity of her condition until after the height had negatively impacted her hearing and speech, turning her from a normal child to a deaf mute. Despite this, Hawa Muhammad Ahli did not give up and kept looking until that point. In 2005, she discovered a position opening at the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, where she distinguished herself in numerous fields with excellence and creativity while demonstrating her capacity to give to others

In the Friends of the Arts category, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai won the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Art Supporters.

UAE IDEAS
The Airports Sector, which is part of Dubai's General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs, won the Dubai Quality Group's Emirates Ideas Award for the best joint idea in the next-generation project (NGB, NGA, NGE) for ports, which enables the completion of departure and entry procedures in under ten seconds.

UAE IDEAS
In the category of creativity in the field of smart government, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, represented by the Entry and Residence Permits Sector, won the Emirates Ideas Award for the project "50 Plus," which allows customers, if they meet all the requirements, to complete their transactions in a time not exceeding 15 seconds. Dubai will thus be the location to complete the entry permit the fastest in the entire world.

AL OWAIS CREATIVE AWARD
At the Culture and Science Symposium's 25th session, employee Kholoud Abdullah Al Ali Saleh from the Institutional Support Sector won the Al Owais Award for Creativity in the category of Best Artwork for Youth.

AMERICA IDEAS
The American Ideas Award for Best Resident for the year 2018 was won by Major / Faisal Abdullah bin Balila, Director of the Strategy and Future Foresight Department. - The Director of Facility Management, Lieutenant Colonel / Omar Matar Khamis bin Mazina, received the Executive Leader Award.

American ideas
The Positive Energy Department, representing the General Directorate of Identity and Foreign Affairs in Dubai, received several honours from the American Ideas Award: Brigadier General Abdul Samad Hussein Suleiman, Assistant Director for Quality and Excellence Affairs, won the Best Resident Award in 2017 along with Major Salem bin Ali, Director of the Amer Department.

Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility Awards
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai took home the prize for large government institutions in the category of "Community Initiatives in the Public Sector" at the Arab Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
