GDRFA Dubai organizes Virtual Partners Forum
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organised a Virtual Partners Forum to highlight the private sector's role in supporting development strategies. During the event, GDRFA reviewed joint operations, showcasing best practises and innovative experiences, and exploring new cooperation possibilities. Additionally, it discussed the impact of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence on government services to help build a brighter community future through multiple comprehensive sessions.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, inaugurated the forum with a speech, emphasising that the event reflects the directorate’s commitment to bolstering strategic partnerships with diverse government and private sectors. He stressed that GDRFA will spare no effort to upgrade its services to go above and beyond the government's expectations.
Al Marri highlighted that constructive collaboration and partnerships play a critical role in driving success and propelling the nation towards the league of developed countries. He went on to say that through joint efforts and continuous coordination, GDRFA will continue to deliver exceptional services and achieve qualitative accomplishments that meet customer aspirations, adding, "Partnerships always lead to outstanding business results."
For his part, HE Eng. Mohammed bin Taliah discussed the digital transformation process within UAE government services. He applauded GDRFA’s efforts in organising forums that strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors, fostering enhanced community experiences. Bin Taliah gave a presentation on the future digital services of the UAE government, emphasising that the wise leadership of the UAE has fuelled progress and development, making the UAE a global leader in digital service provision.
Bin Taliah reiterated that achieving future objectives requires a comprehensive institutional mindset that encompasses all sectors. He highlighted the importance of embarking on small, rapid projects that serve customers and provide immediate impact measurement.
